Cannibal Suarez should be banned for a huge number of games!!

After last nights incidents in the Liverpool versus Chelsea game where Luis Suarez bit Branislav Ivanovic there has been a lot of fun and says by different people. Does he deserve to play at such a big stage and repeat the same mistake that he did at his former club Ajax, does he get a huge fine, does he get a ban for a number of games, does he get charged for violent conduct??

Suarez was really really lucky as Ivanovic did not press any charges against the player. He would have been in quiet a lot more in trouble if Ivanovic did not forgive him. An incident on such a big stage where the full world is watching is bad publicity for Liverpool, the FA and England of course. After the recent incidents off the pitch like the ones at Wembley where Millwall fans fought with each other, Newcastle fans went rouge after their humiliating defeat at the hands of Sunderland and a fan punching a player incident there Has to be some measures taken by the FA and the police to make sure they dont allow such incidents to happen.

Liverpool as going to fine Suarez a mere 300,000 pounds for the biting incident, but they need to make a statement and fine the player more fiercely. The Incident has bought more shame to Liverpool's name as was the case with the Racism row that Suarez had last season with Evra. Liverpool Are getting negative publicity and it will hamper their image drastically.

A player playing at such a high level is watched , followed and adored by huge masses which include kids. It a shame as these small kids will try to do what their idols do and so such incidents set a really bad example for the young generation. They think it is cool to abuse, bite, etc which leads to violence and bad moral conduct.

The FA need to act strongly and ban the player for 10 to 15 games to set an example that such craziness wont be tolerated by them. They have failed recently with the Mcnamana and Holt incidents when the players in actions should have been banned to avoid such dangerous tackles in football. They have no excuse this time not to ban the player. And also since this is not the first such incident by the same player. Suarez has bitten another player on the field and was banned for 8 games. Plus he has a history of doing crazy stuff on the field.

A big ban on Suarez will make him work on his anger issues and also set a example for other players to not loose their temper on the pitch. Hopefully he will be sold next season and Liverpool can concentrate more on the pitch rather than trying to save their image again and again. Suarez is a world class player but he needs to play calmly and not indulge in crazy stunts and avoid diving at the slightest of contacts.
